Itinerary
Cycling atop Xi'an's city wall, travellers feel wind sweep across centuries of stone; underground, the terracotta army keeps silent watch. This journey is designed to meet today's guardians—painting in courtyards, shaping clay in kilns, joining daily life—so history lives as part of modern Xi'an.
Early in the morning, take a 1-hour bus ride from Xi'an to Lintong Qin Shi Huang Imperial Mausoleum Museum - the eighth wonder of the world. Professional lecturers will take you to solve the mystery of the underground military formation, gaze at the thousands of terracotta figurines, and listen to the speechless cries of the Qin craftsmen.
Lunch at ‘Qin Dynasty Banquet’ to taste Qin Dynasty themed food and experience the flavour of the royal family. In the afternoon, drive for half an hour to the niche restoration museum. Under the guidance of cultural experts, touch the pieces of cultural relics with your own hands and immerse yourself in the beauty of antique restoration; and truly ‘touch’ 2,000 years of history with your fingertips. At night, stay at the Koyan Designer Bed and Breakfast, an aesthetic space in the courtyard of Guanzhong, where every corner of the house is a blend of designers' craftsmanship.
