Begin at Da Zhao Square, where the ancient city’s rhythms still beat through its grand monument and palace façades. Then head to the city’s famous “influencer street”, perfect for snapping vibrant photos against colourful murals and boutique façades. Finally, unwind with a leisurely stroll around Manduhai Park, immersing yourself in the relaxed pace of Qingcheng life amid its leafy pavilions and lakeside paths.

As evening falls, you’re free to continue exploring Hohhot’s night markets and local eateries, or return to the Lanyang Lyndon Hotel to recharge for tomorrow’s adventures.

In the morning, travel to Ulanhata Volcano Geopark to explore the flower-strewn lava ruins and change into an astronaut's suit (complimentary smoke stick).

In the morning at the grassland herdsman's home of Willis's big brother, learn about the story of this grassland returning new youth, when the melodious melody from the strings of the horse-head qin flowed out, change into Mongolian robes in the pasture drinking mellow milk tea, follow the big brother in-depth understanding of the Mongolian script and etiquette, feel the grassland life, learn Mongolian archery in the pasture.

In the afternoon, we went to Shenquan Desert Scenic Spot and Qingshui River. The Yellow River and the desert consists of the left bank of the classical garden scenic area, the right bank of the Kubuqi Desert, standing at the junction of the Yellow River and the desert, the wind whistling in the ears, telling the ancient story. The Yellow River water, wrapped in sediment and flowing day and night, is a faithful recorder of the years; the sand dunes in the desert are silent, but hide the secrets carved by wind and sand. Then go to the Yellow River town - Qingshuihe County, the driver led to arrive at the scenic spot, butler take you to familiarise with the scenic spot and check in the special tent.

In the evening, enjoy outdoor dinner under the quiet sky and on top of the thick lawn in the scenic area, with a glass of quality wine thoughtfully served by the main manager. At night, accompanied by the stars, feel the quiet peace.

In the morning you’ll head to the Laoniuwan Yellow River Grand Canyon, where you’ll visit Master Niu’s studio—an Intangible Cultural Heritage craftsman. Learn the intertwined tale of Qingshuihe porcelain and the Yellow River, then roll up your sleeves to try your hand at creating your own ceramic piece.

Later in the afternoon, continue on to the Laoniuwan National Geopark (entrance and boat ride included). Towering cliffs rise on either side of the emerald river, while the Great Wall stands sentinel along the bank and ancient village relics dot the landscape. This is the only place where the Great Wall meets the Yellow River—a perfect fusion of human history and natural wonder. As the river winds past, its silt-laden waters whisper stories of millennia, and the silent dunes hold secrets carved by time.

As evening falls, return to Hohhot and make your way to Kuan Xiangzi Food Street, where the lively aromas and neon lights capture the true spirit of this “Green City.” Finally, your driver will take you back to the Lanyang Lyndon Hotel to rest and recharge.
